My Basque heritage makes me headstrong - but distinctive. My way to look and express is unique: with my Latin American upbringing comes a completely different perspective, mixed with years spent in London and now painting almost daily in this beautiful Greek island. I use colour in a way that is exclusively mine. Juicy, sexy colour. Full of life and sensuality. As a woman, an immigrant, a wife and a lover, I have experienced different cultures and taken from each of them.

I revisit Classical stories and myths, landscapes, series about animals, portraits of local people and any subject that enables me to express joy, rythm, colour and movement. I look at objects, stories, bodies and landscapes and make them vibrate in colour, dream-like crazy images grounded in this moving world.

I come from Chile where I studied Fine Arts, then moved to London and now I am spending time in the gorgeous Greek island where Odysseus had his home. Ithaca, with its rich stories and myths, is now the backdrop to my journey in colour.
